Our Job is to Make The Greater Cleveland Area Pagan Pride Day and associated activities happen and provide all required communications, etc. in accordance with the requirements in http://www.paganpride.org/do/expectations.html and associated links.  The Coordinator and Co-Coordinator are responsible for assuring that everything is done that needs to be done, picking up the ball and doing it if the Greater Cleveland Area Pagan Pride Project (CGPPP) organization http://www.clevelandpaganpride.org/articlesoforganization.php and associated volunteers fail to do so.   Also, official spokespersons for the GCPPP.  The buck stops with the Coordinator and Co-Coordinator, who moderate and co-moderate our e-mail lists, including http://groups.yahoo.com/group/GrClevePPD and http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Vote-Memb-ClevePPP.

 

Workshop Administrator (Jerry Clough princeofpatchouli2000@yahoo.com 216 799-9295)

 

Responsible for scheduling workshops, being a point of contact for those wishing to run workshops, ensuring that workshops with similar themes might be spread throughout the events, to avoid schedule conflicts, to ensure locations of workshops are sufficient and other workshop needs.

 

Medical Administrator (Public Information to be provided)   

 

Responsible for coordinating all first aid, and medical emergency planning and logistics

 

Vendor Administrator (Public Information to be provided)

 

Responsible for all sales, coordinating vendors and related activities (with some clarification of what is meant by sales pending)

My job would be to "orchestrate" or put the puzzle together of the teams of volunteers that make the festival happen:
entertainment
vendors
security/children programming
workshops
medical
ritual
groundskeepers
commissary

Pretty much be the cheif cook and bottle washer guy. My success does not lie with me, but all of you!

Website Administrator (Aoirthoir An Broc aoirthoir@delusionalmysticism.com 440-521-7214)

Responsible for creating and administering  to the Cleveland Pagan Pride websites, such as uploading graphics, entering content, research, downloading or modifying images, and other website related tasks as agreeable to the Cleveland Pagan Pride Project.  The website coordinator shall also provide all passwords to the Cleveland Pagan Pride Website and associated utilities etc to the Local Coordinator for the Cleveland Pagan Pride Project.

 

Legal Researcher or Administrator (Public Information to be provided)

 

At least related to childcare and children’s programming issues, for which she has been providing important information.

 

Public Relations Administrator (Information to be provided)

 

Responsible for advertising, coordinating, drafting and distributing press releases and other publicity.

 

Transportation Administrator (Public Information to be provided)

Responsible for coordinating all transportation related activities (information on public transport, coordinating car-pooling, etc.), Involves gathering  all need information about public transit, and all alternative modes of transit.

Website Administrative Assistant (Information to be provided)

 

Responsible for assisting the Website Coordinator with tasks related to the Cleveland Pagan Pride website, such as uploading graphics, entering content, research, downloading or modifying images, and other website related tasks as agreeable to the Website Coordinator and the Website Administrative Assistant.

 

Charity Administrator (Vacant)

Responsible for all necessary arrangements for our charity activities, including recommending charities, confirming their 501(c)(3) 509(a)(1) or a(2) status, confirming their willingness to be listed in our publicity as among our charities of choice, organizing collection and distribution of donations and associated activities.

Treasurer (Vacant)

The Treasurer shall audit and maintain, or cause to be kept and maintained, full and accurate accounts of the property and business transactions of the Greater Cleveland Pagan Pride Project (GCPPP), including accounts of its assets, liabilities, receipts, disbursements, gains, losses, capital, retained earnings, and other matters customarily included in financial statements. The Treasurer shall deposit or cause to be deposited all moneys and other valuables in the name and to the credit of GCPPP with such depositories as may be designated by the GCPPP. The Treasurer shall disburse or cause to be disbursed the funds of GCPPP as may be ordered by the GCPPP, and shall render to the GCPPP and the Pagan Pride Project, Inc, whenever they request it, an account of all of the Treasurer's transactions as Treasurer and of the financial condition of GCPPP. At the conclusion of the Treasurer's term, all financial records shall be given to the Treasurer's successor along with related assets. The Treasurer shall also perform all other duties which the aforementioned organizations delegate.

The Treasurer must apply for and be approved by the Pagan Pride Project, Inc as a GCPPP Co-Coordinator <The purpose of this is to facilitate communication between our Treasurer and other Treasurer's and the related resources of the Pagan Pride Project, Inc.>

The Treasurer is responsible for
* Keeping accurate and auditable records of all funds received and disbursed from the Greater Cleveland GCPPP, categorized in accordance with State of Ohio and Pagan Pride Project, Inc reporting requirements
* Reporting on same on a monthly basis and periodically to the Pagan Pride Project Inc in accordance with their reporting requirements, and maintaining and making available copies of the content of such reports.
* Drafting realistic budgets and proposing and updating draft budgets until they are approved by the GCPPP
* Receiving, banking, and disbursing funds in accordance with budgets and procedures approved the GCPPP
* Coordinating all charitable activities by the GCPPP
* Fundraising (in cooperation with sponsors, etc) to provide adequate funds to meet budget requirements or proposing new budgets consistent with realistically available finances.
* Providing everything necessary to satisfy State of Ohio Tax and reporting requirements (It is my understanding that the Pagan Pride Project, Inc deals with Federal Tax issues using the information that the Treasurer provides to them, but Local Ohio PPD organizations are responsible for satisfying the State of Ohio. Fortunately, as a co-coordinator, the Treasurer could be a member of a regional e-mail list that includes coordinators for other Ohio PPDs with similar responsibilities who can help provide guidance concerning such matters)
* Complying with all pertinent requirements of the Pagan Pride Project, Inc and the GCPPP related to the aforementioned duties
* Recruiting and supervising adequate volunteer and paid services to meet the aforementioned requirements (Drafting job descriptions and specifications for other voting GCPPP positions, and helping to modifying them as necessary to have those positions filled, etc).
* Consulting with the GCPPP Legal Advisor concerning the above

Key potential Voting GCPPP positions coordinated by the Treasurer include
* Fundraising Coordinator: Besides raising funds and encouraging fundraising activities by sponsors and others, also responsible for submitting updates to our e-mail list and website and drafting other publicity to recognize the contributions of sponsors, etc. when they choose to be so recognized
* Bookkeeper
* Tax Consultant
* Charity Administrator
