WORKSHOP PROPOSALS FOR 8/28/2010 CLEVELAND AREA PAGAN PRIDE DAY

The Cleveland Area Pagan Pride Day (PPD) will take place between Noon and 10 pm on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Bedford Pubic Square and the adjacent Happy Yoga Studio.

The deadline for submitting workshops proposals is July 30, 2010, but it is to your advantage to submit your workshop proposals as soon as possible, since the selection of workshop and ritual leaders has begun. We need worskshop proposals for for invoking the Goddess, North, East, South, and West. We also have two more workshop slots available.

Between 1:00 pm and 7:15 pm on August 28, 2010, up to 32 half-hour workshops may take place, split between four venues.

*        Sixteen of the workshops will be focused on education on various Pagan traditions, eight of which will be focused on organizing participants to help lead aspects of our main ritual.

*        Up to half of the remaining sixteen workshops will be on family programming (programming for children and tweens) and the remaining workshops other topics (such as divination, resources to deal with religious discrimination, healing, etc).

Double workshop slots lasting 75 minutes area also possible.

At 7:30 pm, harvest ritual is planned, with various aspects led by people who provided workshops in various Pagan traditions and those who attended their ritual participation workshops.

If you are interested in proposing to provide a workshop during Pagan Pride day, please send a brief description of the workshop that you would like to propose and a brief bio summarizing your qualifications to provide this workshop to princeofpatchouli2000@yahoo.com and to lcornett@en.com

Please let us know if you would like to lead an aspect of our harvest ritual, so we can put you in contact with others to create ritual that will manifest an effective and harmonious flow of consciousness among all participants.  For an example format for such a ritual, see http://www.lcorncalen.com/Ritual%20Pub-Example.htm.

Also, let us know if your e-mail address can be shared on our Pagan Pride Day e-mail list and/or in our volunteer forums, and what contact information (if any, such as name, address, phone number, website, and/or e-mail address) may be shared publicly.
